Rob Rakusin is the managing director of Rak Real Estate Equities.

Prior to co-founding, RAK, Rob served as president and CEO of Seefried Industrial Properties for over 30 years. Under his leadership, Rob grew the company into one of the premier, privately held industrial development firms in the country. Mr. Rakusin provided guidance and support to Seefried’s regional offices and assisted in the deal structure and financing activities of the company. He also assisted regional partners and was instrumental in maintaining key relationships with Seefried’s U.S. capital partners and user/ occupier relationships.

Rob has developed more than 200 million square feet of industrial product nationwide, totaling more than 18 billion dollars in project value. From build-to-suit to spec warehouse, to data centers, Rob has been built over 400 industrial buildings.

Prior to joining Seefried, Rob served as Managing Director and Vice President of Development for Landmarks Development, GmbH, the German subsidiary of The Landmarks Group, where he was responsible for the development of office buildings and industrial parks in the Berlin market. Before that, he was the Vice President of Project Finance for the LandMarks Group and worked for Carter & Associates from 1981-1988.

Rob is a graduate of the University of Florida, from the School of Accounting.
